Description (CMS Description)
Spurred club of dark wood, gata. The head is curved and provided with a lip (tebetebe). The underside of the head is roughly carved to resemble the bark of a tree. The spur is rounded. A small rounded ridge (teretere) is carved at the junction between the head and the spur. The handle is circular in section and very polished. Small pommelled butt. A piece of European string is tied around the pommel.
