Description (CMS Description)
Pole club of heavy dark wood, possibly a cross between a gadi and a bowai. The head is flared and convex at the top. The shaft is circular in section. The handle is carved with deep tavatava patterns. The butt has been partially hollowed out in a concentric manner (three levels). The butt is lightly chipped and pierced with a circular hole.
