Description (CMS Description)
Large spurred club of dark wood, sali or cali. The head has a long broad cheek and small chipped lip (tebetebe). The head is carved with grooves forming a grid pattern in relief. The pattern is divided in two panels by 3 bands of zigzags. A small circular hole has been drilled at the top of the head on one side (has not gone through to the other side). Additional ridge (teretere) at the junction of the head and spur. The shaft is circular in section . Rounded pommel. A horizontal notch carved mid-shaft.
