Description (Physical description)
This type of rope of braided coir (magimagi) is usually attached to the lug of a yaqona bowl. The braid is made from four 3-ply plaited coir cords. Nine common egg seashell (ovula ovum) are attached to the rope: four at one end (attached with coir), three at the other end (attached with European string) and two in the centre of the rope (attached with coir) (L.Carreau, 09/01/2012).
