Description (Physical description)
Presentation sperm whale tooth, pierced at the tip (one hole) and at the butt (two very small holes, one broken) for suspension (cord now missing). The butt is lightly chipped. The surface of the tooth is very smooth and polished with a honey colour. Some specks of white paint on the front of the object. 'PE' incised on one side of the tabua. (L. Carreau, 14/01/2013).
