5 stamping tubes (A-E). [A:] Stamping tube of bamboo, closed by a node at one end and sawn open at the other. Speckled surface. The node end is cracked and chipped. The sawn end is notched. [B:] Stamping tube of bamboo, closed by a node at one end and sawn open at the other. Speckled surface. [C:] Stamping tube of bamboo, sawn open at one end. At the other end, A bunch of gree-dyed vegetable fibre and cotton wool has been tighly packed. Speckled surface. An additional node about 24.5 cm from the sawn end. Its internal membrane has been removed. [D:] Stamping tube of bamboo, closed by a node at one end and sawn open at the other. Speckled surface. A crack at both ends. [E:] Stamping tube of bamboo, closed by a node at one end and sawn open at the other. Speckled surface. An additional node about 29 cm from the sawn end. Its internal membrane has been removed. Several cracks at both ends. The end with the node is chipped.
