An elaborately carved staff with three human figures, two astride an animal, possibly water buffalo and the middle figure squatting. Below these are seven heads, possibly of water buffalo. The top is bound with white cloth with a tassel of black human hair.

Register notes 'An elaborately carved staff with pointed ferrule sheathed in tin. It consists of three grotesque human figures, the first (topmost) & third are astride an animal (?water buffalo) & the middle figure is in a squatting position & resembles the thirds in having one arm only. Below these are seven heads of ?water buffalo terminating just above the ferrule in an incised human figure & other symbols.
The top is bound with white cloth from which hangs a tuft of black human hair which forms which the headdress of the uppermost figure.
Red seeds are attached here and there as eyes &c.
