Context (CMS Context)
This is one of two objects labelled as 1941.8. MAA's accession registers record that 1941.8 is a comb but the comb found with this number is not marked with a Coote inscription or label. The shell ornament labelled as 1941.8 is, however, inscribed with a Coote inscription and also inscribed with ’41.8’. Both records and objects have been kept in the Museum’s database as both objects clearly exist, but ‘[Record 1]’ and ‘[Record 2]’ have been added to the IDNO field to differentiate them.
