Collected by: Skeat.W.W in : " Cage for ' Belalang when kept as pets (' sarang belalang) They are often kept by boys for the sake of their chirping (' koko - crowing) powers. A couple of them are often (kept together and) pitted to chirp against each other and the louder chirperwins. One which was kept in our house at Belimbing kept us awake."
