' jelatok' or (..) ridoi' or ' (..) Kerayong' or ' petai' fruit which, except in the case of the fruits of the Kerayong and jelatok - which require to be boiled if too freshly gathered, and tightly fixed in the narrow upper end ' pantat' of the trap. The fish eating at the mouth of the trap ' mulut' is caught and held on the prickles of the ' onak' ? The ' Krai' and ' kelai' , the ' temeralan' , the ' kejau' and ' tengas' are the fish generally caught. The trap is fastened with a long rattan (cane) line to a tree or tree stump near the bank (' Chenggong')). A stone is tied to the pantat, outside, and the trap is sunk. Or else it is tied with a short line so as to float, (In which case the) bait is of leaves of the ' ara' (ficus) ' birah' (or ' ubi Kayu' , but this is for ' ikan Kaloi' Kaloi-fish only)
