Gaiter - Card 1: 'Makamak. Leglets; slightly decorated with beads, this is unusual and is evidently a comparatively recent innovation.'
Card 2: 'Bundle of leg bands plaited from fine surface roots of coconut. Decorated with occasional trade beads.'
Used in dances and ceremonies. Worn below knee by both men and women.
