Belt - Card 1: 'Shell-belt. Imported belt with overlaid patterns (cf. T. Sts Rep vol. IV Pl. XIV fig 1.) with 2 rows of cowry mouths and row below of tufts of coloured cotton stuffs & wools. Fringe of shells below.'
Card 2: 'Belt of plaited palm leaf strip with two rows of cowrie shells attached. Below row of tufts of cotton and wool in colours of red, pink, and black. Fringe of other shells.'
Worn generally, especially by men when dancing.
