Pendant - Card 1: 'SAUAD. Artificially deformed boar's tusk which belonged to Arus father of Mamai.'
Card 2: 'Boar's tusk with remains of string at palp end and hole drilled at point. One nick at wide end. Stated to have belonged to Arua, father of Mamai.'
Worn at conclusion of Malu-Bomai initiation ceremonies by leading men. Stated to have belonged to Arua, father of Mamai (see genealogy 16 in Haddon.
