Card makes reference to a similar object, Skeat II: 234. The card has a diagram of the object; Used as a toy by boys. For shooting darts ' belah' at the fowls or anything else that offers a target. The catch is fixed with it' s head just under the front peg and it' s point just under the back peg when it is released by a movement of the forefinger. The extra peg underneath is to give additional purchase (e.g. for the middle finger while the forefinger is pulling the catah or trigger); Collected by: Skeat.W.W
