Context (Acquisition Details)
1902 Annual report notes that the second group of material collected by William Walter Skeat [described as Skeat II] has been acquired and the cost defrayed partly by a grant from the University Chest and partly by private subscription. The collection, which, for the present, has had to be stored in the basement of the Museum of Classical Archaeology, will shortly be catalogued and incorporated with the Selangor Collection presented by Mr Skeat in 1898.'
