Context (CMS Context)
Made from strips of leaves which are dried and dyed. The strips of leaves are dyed with following materials: yellow, with akar kemudu; red, with brazilwood, ' sepang' blue; green, with ' Kesumba' (madder). All are made of woven (plaited) screwpalm' mengkuang' leaf. Strengthened with the midribs of the sago palm ' pelepahrumbia' the long ends are compressed between 2 bamboo hoops and bound with stems of the ' Ribu-Ribu' creeper; Collected by: Skeat.W.W
