The card also contains the number '27 B', which may refer to an old box number (now outmoded). An attempt has been made to match the object up with Skeat I: 852. This is not definitive: The entry for 852 in Skeat' s Printed Catalogue I refers to a model of a 'Lanchang', 'a variety of boat, stained with tumeric, was offered to the malignant spirits of diseases when an important person fell ill, by being set adrift on the river at ebb tideso that it might be carried out to sea'.
