It is certainly not Skeat I: 185 which, according to Skeat' s Printed Catalogue I, is an embroidery needle. The item is likely to be Skeat I: 152, although this is not definitive. The card also contains two numbers, " 110" and " 11" , the meanings of which are unclear. (It is possible they are part of an obsolete system of classification).
