The dimensions of the box in which this item is contained are given as 28.0" x 23.0" x 7.0" . It is front opening. The card gives three numbers: " 7 A" , " 31 Y" , " 35" . Their meaning is unclear, although some or all of them may refer to an obsolete classification system. This item has been associated with Skeat I: 442, which the Skeat Printed Catalogue I describes as a " ' Skuchi' ...Closely resembling the last [ie. Skeat I: 441, a ' Salah-salah' , which is described thus: two masts and bowsprit, sharp stem and stern: carries a rudder, square ' dandans' fore and aft, and a large deck house], differing only in proportion of the stern ' dandan' " . However, the length of the ' Skuchi' is given as 22.5" in the Printed Catalogue I. No definitive Skeatnumber can therefore be given at present.
