Context (Field collection)
Possibly tomb 121, Vounous Site B. Excavated by James Stewart, British School at Athens, 1937-1938.
[Z 36406 was previously speculated to be number 24 from Tomb 121, however sherds from Z 36407 are clearly marked with that reference and the sherds from the two idnos do not refit. The Tomb number is therefore uncertain. Katrina Dring 27/2/2024]

Context (Analysis)
Rafael Laoutari, PhD candidate, examined these sherds and those of Z 36407 and believes that they are part of the same vessel even though they are not adjoining sherds. This is based on the fabric, the thickness of the walls and surface treatment. If that is the case, then this vessel comes from Tomb 121. T no 24, whereas previously only the tomb number was known.
