Context (Related Documents)
S.Webb, 21/03/2002: Note in box states 'this ivory bracelet must have been an unusually fine object when in use. it was evidently taken up in fragments by the excavators and a (rather clumsy!) attempt made to restore it in the field. The writer would like to have the time to make a decent restoration, but hopes the recipient will attempt it, despite the discouraging mass of secordary fragments'. The note is signed with what appears to be the initials LWL.
