The Period field stated 'Meroitic' which shall remain at present. More investigation of the material will have to be undertaken to fully assess and date the objects.

1953.308.1 and 1953.308.2 are both fragments of iron anklets. Two anklets were found on the skeleton, so it is possible that these two fragments are from the separate anklets although it is possible they are from one anklet and the other did not survive.
