We head to fill in the excavation last Thursday. There were 5 coains in all. Sestutius of M.Aurelius. (well worn) Devanius of Seveerus Alexander. (nearly new) Ant. of Tetucius I " II " Carausius. Do these fit in well with the pottery? M.F.Howard.'.The back of an envelope reads 'Miss Liversidge. More plaster from the same area of ARbury Rd. Could you please give an opinion on the 4 or 5 pieces of pottery (tile?) on the top + also on this fragment - worked wood? M.F.Howard.'. In addition there is a hand drawn map showing the excavation site at Arbury titled 'Arbury Chalk Foundations in area from which Wall Plaster comes.' date in pencil to '12/2/53'.
