Context (CMS Context)
A small single-edged iron knife, also found by Mr Howard, was found in the second pipe-line back from the Arbury Road, but nearer the hedge than the R-B material. Also animal bones (not entered) were found near the place where the pottery came from and a few with the pottery. A large number of sherds from different wares including colour coated ware, painted ware, possibly imitation Samian ware and many types of grey and coarse ware. In addition the is a fragment of tile, a small piece of glass and a fragment of a quern stone.
