Description (Physical description)
Horace Beck catalogue card description: 'This bead is of a type and probably same period as a number from Kish- dated to Jamud Nasr period. i.e. 3000 BC. The perforation is blocked by a wooden material at one end- probably a root and at the other end by a piece of cord- made of several small strands combined (probably twisted) to form a large one. The small strands were twisted threads of Hemp? and one part natural colour, the 2nd red and 3rd a brown. This can be seen on slide 480.'
