Description (Physical description)
Sherds of patterned impressed ware. Black or red burnished pottery decorated with zig-zag lines and bands of small semi- circular or s-shaped impressions, sometimes with a white in- filling. Forms include necked jars or open bowls with bosses or lugs pierced to form a rough strap handle. This is the later impressed ware with more elaborate and deliberate patterns in the decoration
