Description
Two refitting rim sherds from a wide, shallow, open bowl of thick, reddish yellow coloured fabric with a black core and burnished surfaces. Body and base are decorated with a curvilinear channelled design: three concentric circles in the centre of the base, surrounded by groups of four radiating lines, separated by small oblique lines; the radiating lines link to concentric semicircles along the shoulder; the centre of each semicircle alternates between an indented oval and a large pointed boss. Bowl has a rounded base and body, a sharply carinated shoulder, a flared collar, and a wide, everted, downward-angled rim.
