Description
Copper alloy jug. The jug has a slightly rounded base, sharply flaring to a cylindrical body, sharply tapering to a narrow, cylindrical neck with a ridge above the centre. Attached between the neck and shoulder is a curved strap handle: wire is wrapped around the bottom, twisted, and attached around the neck via a band of sheet copper alloy formed of three oval plates; the top of the handle curves downward into a rectangular band of sheet copper alloy, wrapped around the neck.
