Description

Small hemispherical bowl with a pierced lug at one side of the rim. Black polish on the internal surface with incised lines around the outer rim and eight concentric circles joined by straight lines and short dashes. Semi circular arched lines around the lug, majority of lines have remnants of a lime infill. Small portion of the rim is broken off and missing. Red Polish III.

Description for 1951.1084 [A-D] ' This group seems to belong to Red Polish III: A: Hemispherical bowl with pierced vertical lug near the rim. Incised concentric circles and parallel lines. Rim Diameter 4" . Chamber No.7. B: Four hemispherical bowls with pierced rim lugs, joined together and with a high, angular vertical handle. Restored. Height to top of handle 8.25" . Chamber No.9. C: Large, high-necked jug with tubular neck and plastic moulding on neck and shoulder. Height at least 14" . Chamber No.12. D: Large jug with tall neck and plastic moulding on neck and shoulder. Handle missing, neck damaged and base slightly flattened. Height 17.75" . Chamber No.13'
