Description
String of Beads Bead - String of beads, two stone, the rest glass including large melon (pale blue) - probably Roman? Crumb beads, flush. Patterns made by pressing an irregular thread of red and white into a red background. Double wave beads, 1 yellow on red and 2 white on red very corroded and 3 white on black. One bead with four definite blue spots on black base (?Roman). This bead is very similar to specimens from Icklingham 400 AD. Numerous medium size beads with horned eyes. One bead like Merovingian
