Description
Brown salt glazed stoneware jug. Simple rim and a single strap handle with a pewter hinge attachment for a lid. Narrow neck decorated in relief with three faces in medallions surrounded by ornate scrolls and floral motifs. The centre face appears to be a 'green man' with a male and a female either side. Squat, round body tapering to a ribbed pedestal base with a flat bottom. Lid is detached and missing.
