Description

Jug of coarse buff grey clay. Flat-topped, externally thickened, upright rim with small lip spout; long neck slightly tapering towards body; biconical body; acute-angled, footring base. A ridged handle, oval in cross-section, runs from rim to shoulder, with two-pronged protrusions at either end. Incised decoration of horizontal lines on rim and neck and chevrons on shoulder.
