Description
Vase or urn. Clubbed, rounded rim; neck tapers towards the body; body widens and tapers to a footring base. Round body; two opposing horizontal side handles half way down the body have with long arms in relief from the body; with a small aperture for holding; and are painted brown. Rim, neck and upper body is decorated with brown horizontal bands; the middle is decorated with white crosses; two brown bands below where the handles connect; some glaze has dripped down to the base. Red ware.
