Context (Analysis)
Catalogue card notes that these were collected by R.W. Hutchinson, W.L. Cuttle and F.B. Welch during the 1926 [Vardaroftsi] excavations, but this site is not mentioned in the subsequent publications so its exact location is uncertain (see Heurtley, W.A. and Hutchinson, R.W. (1925/26). 'Report on the Excavations at the Toumba and Tables of Vardaroftsa, Macedonia, 1925, 1926: Part I. The Toumba.' The Annual of the British School at Athens, vol. 27. pp. 1-66; see Heurtley, W.A. & Davies, O. (1926). 'Report on the Excavations at the Toumba and Tables of Vardaróftsa, Macedonia, 1925, 1926; Part I.' The Annual of the British School at Athens, vol. 28. pp. 195-200.).

Context (Amendments / updates)
The sherds are only marked with the names of R. W. Hutchinson and F. B. Welch, hence W. L. Cuttle has been omitted from the source field. Likewise, the Place field has been changed from 'Europe; Southern Europe; Greece; ?Central Macedonia; ?Eastern Macedonia and Thrace; Alabar' to 'Europe; Southern Europe; Greece; ?Central Macedonia; ?Eastern Macedonia and Thrace; Alabor; ?Kidonea' as the sherds are clearly marked 'Alabor' instead of 'Alabar' which might hint to the site of Mallo Alabor (Mikron Alamporon) close to modern Kidonea near Thessaloniki.
