The catalogue card notes that these sherds were 'collected by R.W. Hutchinson and W.L. Cuttle during the 1926 [Vardaroftsi] excavations', although this site is not mentioned in the subsequent publications (see Heurtley, W.A. and Hutchinson, R.W. (1925/26).
