The catalogue card notes that these sherds were 'collected by R.W. Hutchinson and W.L. Cuttle during the 1926 [Vardaroftsi] excavations', although this site is not mentioned in the subsequent publications (see Heurtley, W.A. and Hutchinson, R.W. (1925/26). Eight sherds of various wares. Two rim sherds, one with raised ridge featuring transverse grooves, one with fragment of handle base attached; six body sherds, all variously marked with incised decoration.
