Socketed copper alloy axe. Straight cutting edge; Flat sides with a triangular cross-section and slightly visible casting seams, with a loop before the butt on one side; collared butt with thickened rim; hollow socket with a rectangular cross-section. Surfaces previously chemically treated.

Label as follows: '22. Hache en bronze a douille quadrangulaire et anneau lateral, avec bourrelet et une legere barre transversale sous le col. Longueur 0m127, poids 274. Hache massive bien formee, preparee au martelage, sans doute destinee a l'usage. Moreac, Morbihan. Vers 1894, en defrichant le bois de Boedic a Moreac (Morbihan) on mit a jour un vase en terre contenant 52 haches a douille, placees en couches superposees et soigneusement rangees, la douille de l'une reposant sur le tranchant de l'autre. Le no. 22 est une hache de ce depot.'
