Translation: 'Excavation of the Treneday dolmen, in Guérande (Loire-Inférieure).
Behind the Treneday castle, in a field called Four, is a megalithic block measuring 1m80 in length by approximately the same width, and with a thickness varying between 0m65, 0m55 and 0m40, which once covered a dolmen, whose supports have disappeared. This dolmen seems to belong to the beginning of the megalithic era. Under and around the site, the excavation yielded a certain number of objects, indisputable remains of the funerary material of the megalith.
The yellow coloured flints are a valuable indication of the distribution of flints from Grand-Pressigny in Brittany-Armorique where they are rarely encountered. (Bulletin Archaeological Society of Nantes and Loire-Inférieure, year 1920).'
