Description

Three sherds from two vessels; all are of grey ware with lime-filled incised decoration. Two connecting sherds are decorated with an incised band around the vessel below the neck; the body is decorated with incised geometric pattern of lines and triangles; with the base of a strap handle with triangular cross-section. One rim sherd with internally bevelled rim and decorated with incised bands creating a triangular pattern.

Description (Physical description)
Description for 1924.1348 [A-C]: 'Nine fragments of pottery: grey and black ware, incised with straight line and zig-zag patterns. One piece is part of a base. One piece has the broken lower end of handles and one sherd, one piece, with herring bone design, seems to be part of a thick handle; three pieces, more delicately incised seem to be part of thin flat handles.'
