Description
Copper alloy double looped socketed axe. Straight cutting edge with no bevel tapering slightly to a grooved body with three raised linear mouldings. Wedge shaped cross section with two loops either side of the square socket. A casting seam is visible and a dark patina and pitting is present across the whole surface of the object.
