Description

Brown salt glazed stoneware 'Bellarmine' jug. Narrow ribbed rim with a short neck; applied loop handle with a bartmann mask on the opposite side. Globular body with a small oval medallion of a coat of arms featuring a lion rampant and chevrons on the top portions with a lion statant below. The shield is topped with a crown. Flat, round base. One small chip to the rim.
