One rim sherd of micaceous brown fabric, black on the interior. Upright simple rim; vertically pierced lug just below rim with two applied ridges that extend diagonally downwards from the edges of the lug and shown transverse slashes.

Description for 1928.281 A-B: 'A: Sherd of grey ware, uneven reddish surface with small pierced lug, or rudimentary handle, at the junction of two applied bands of cable pattern which apparently ran around the pot forming a chevron design. (?derived from carrying ropes). B: Sherd of similar ware with applied strip of cable pattern'.
