Description
Vessel, possibly a jar, comprising a large section of the body and ten detached sherds from the base, shoulder, and rim. Medium fabric with a dark grey core and orange-brown surfaces. External surface is smoothed, painted dark red-brown, and decorated with four groups of impressed dots on the shoulder, and black paint in the form of a band around the neck, three hooked crosses on the shoulder, and tapered vertical bands around the body. The vessel has: a small base with a footring; a widely flaring body with a high, rounded shoulder; a narrowed, upright neck; an everted rim with a rounded edge.

According to Teržan et al (1985), 'Graves 1817 to 1876 were originally marked in Szombathy's diary from 1 to 60, but they were later transferred to graves from 1817 to 1876' (p. 403); this was originally numbered Grave 31.
