Description
Lamp of red ware with black glaze. Annular body, with inverted and slightly flanged rim of a circular opening; with convex sides, base has footring. From one end a ring handle emerges at a right-angle to the lamp; opposite a wide projecting spout with an ovoid opening on the top; and with horizontal, pointed knobs on either side. Internal base is slightly domed. Late Greek type.
