Description

Terracotta head of a woman, possibly a goddess or priestess. She is depicted unsmiling, with hair parted in the centre, and wearing a long hood-like head-dress which extends past her shoulders. The head-dress is painted with a red band around the edges, and traces of white pigment remain elsewhere. The head is moulded, and broken off below the neck, with one shoulder remaining.
