Description
Terracotta head of a man, possibly a god, possibly Zeus. He is depicted unsmiling, with a full beard, and wearing an ornate head-dress comprised of a wreath around the head with a rosette in the centre of the wreath and tall palmette extending above it. His head is moulded out of a broader piece of terracotta, and is hollow at the back.
