Description
Two-handled Pelike of black glaze on red ware, one handle missing. Squared, everted rim with wide opening; neck has two opposing strap handles extending to half way down the body; body is widened and round towards the base of the body; base has footring. One side is decorated with the side profile of a female head wearing a hate with a large black circle; the other side is decorated with an owl; with palmette spiral decoration around. The interior rim has black glaze but it does not extend inside the vessel.
