Description
Oinochoe of black glaze on red ware. Trefoil-lipped rim creates a spout opposite the strap handle, emerging from inside the mouth with a right angled corner. Small neck widens into a globular body, with two small incised bands at its midpoint below the rim; and decorated below the spout with the side profile of a female head in red figure, wearing a hat decorated with dots and two strands at the back, with hair coming out at the front; with line borders on three sides. Base has footring and is slightly splayed.
