Description

Black-glazed cup, or Kotyle, of South Italian ware. Comprises of a flattened, slightly everted rim; short body and base with tall footring. The strap handle projects horizontally below the rim in a square shape. Polished, black fabric, with small chip to rim; light brown roughness to surface at the handle and base.
