Description
Fibula; Brooch - Cross-bow fibula of gilded bronze (half of cross-bar missing). Incised ' feather' pattern on foot, perhaps originally inlaid with niello. The brooch is much worn, the cusping on foot and cross-bar being rubbed almost smooth. Safety catch for pin as in 27. R40
