Mezzotint - Mezzotint. ' The Perilous situation of Major Mony' engraved by Murphy after Reinagle. Major Mony ascended from Norwich (in Count Zambecanes balloon) on 23 July 1785, and fell into the sea about 20 miles out. He was rescued about 5 hours [Hodgson, p.182 Lockwoods Marsh No.56].
